The shop is owned by Chris Fairchild, previously incarnated as a teacher, now looking to supply the people of Scarborough and visitors to the town with the kind of products he likes to buy and believes will make life better for everyone. Putting them all under one roof to make it more convenient for everyone and providing a delivery service in an attempt to cut down the number of journeys needed to get the goods from shop to home, ........... leaving a smaller footprint.
He will be ably assisted by Gerry McCauley during the week and son John Fairchild when he's home from University. Chris' wife Ruth will be around from time to time too.
